RCIA for Catholics? Yes!

For information on RCIA for Catholics, contact Marilyn Cozzi.

RCIA is for Catholics Too

I am Catholic, but can I come to RCIA?

Over the last several years, we have had many people who are already Catholic come to RCIA.  Sometimes they are practicing Catholics who want to know the faith beyond what they absorbed as children in CCD.  Sometimes they have been away from the Church and are considering coming back to the Church.  Often they accompany a friend or relative to RCIA.  Whatever the reason, you are welcome!

At our RCIA sessions, we begin with an overview of the Catholic faith, starting with questions such as:

  • Who is God and how do we know Him?
  • What does it mean when we say we believe in God?
  • How has God revealed Himself to us?

From there, we progress to study the Profession of Faith, by examining the components of the Nicene Creed; the Celebration of Christian Mystery by learning about the Sacraments of the Church; our Life in Christ by studying the Church’s teachings regarding the Ten Commandments and Christian Prayer.  Questions are always welcome.

Our RCIA sessions are held on Wednesday evening from 7 to 8:30 in the parish center.

If you are already Catholic but would like to come to RCIA simply to renew your Christian faith and understanding, please contact Marilyn Cozzi at mcozzi@bscky.org or 859-331-4302, ext. 37.  We would love to hear from you!
