From Seder to Eucharist
April 3rd, 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Center. Jesus’ Last Supper was a Seder meal, but he changed the ancient ritual into something radically new – something we call Eucharist. Taste the ritual foods, join in the ancient prayers, and sing the celebratory songs of Passover, exploring the Jewish roots of our Holy Mass. This presentation is interactive, interesting, and a wonderful way to prepare for a more meaningful celebration of Holy Week. (For adults and youth over the age of 12).
“These, then, are the feasts of Passover, in which is slain the Lamb, the one true Lamb.” From the Exsultet – the Easter Proclamation
